A solid six foot fence helps reduce the noise from the busy road in front of the house. It also provides privacy for this outdoor area.

New Kitchen and Hardwood Flooring
Here’s a new kitchen I designed and installed for a home in South Portland. After the old kitchen cabinets were removed, the homeowner decided to have new flooring installed in the house as well. I put down prefinished maple in the kitchen, living room, and hallways on the first floor and made new thresholds for the doorways. The kitchen cabinets are maple with a cherry finish by American Woodmark

Children’s Task Desk
I built this small desk for a child’s room. It’s slightly narrower and lower to the ground than a standard desk. The door conceals adjustable shelving. A white polyurethane topcoat provides a durable finish.
Oak Flooring Installation
I removed all of the carpeting in this condominium, repaired some damaged subflooring, and installed this beautiful pre-finished oak flooring.
Built-in desk
A small nook became usable office space with this built-in desk. The desk is constructed from Birch plywood with Walnut accents.
Built-in Wall Unit
This custom built-in wall unit has adjustable shelving, concealed cable management, crown molding and a durable white lacquer finish.
In-Wall Stereo
I installed this car stereo in the wall of my son’s room. It’s powered by a 3amp / 13.8vdc power supply (hidden in the attic above) and connected to four 6.5″ coaxial speakers mounted in the corners of the ceiling. The great thing about using a car stereo is the amount of features you get in a compact format. It has an MP3 player, a CD player, a high powered 5 channel amplifier, and an FM tuner.
Basement Bathroom with Saniflo System
This half bathroom was added to a basement where the only direction for the waste water to go was up. I installed a Saniflo macerating pump system with a rear outlet toilet. It works great!

This is a large four tiered deck in Cape Elizabeth. A standalone structure houses an outdoor shower. You can see I had a lot of help with this one.

1920’s Bathroom Renovation
A 1920’s period apartment bathroom after an extensive renovation. The tiny corner shower stall was replaced with an enameled cast iron claw foot tub. Wainscoting, chair rail and baseboard were installed around the perimeter. A ceiling vent was added to eliminate mildew problems. The result is a durable, low maintenance, and attractive bathroom.
